HE/HIM/HIS

DIRECTOR/WRITER/ACTOR/EDUCATOR

Jack Dorfman is from the gentlest corner of Avon, Colorado. Despite “not being Jewish”, Jack’s genes made him allergic to shellfish so he had to keep kosher anyway. His passions are in musicals and his hatreds are in ketchup. If you want to get on his good side, bring up Persona,  Tom Cruise, or random Polish filmmakers. His most recent credits include directing D.A.M.E., You, Me, and the FAFSA (for which he co-stars), and various music videos. He also has produced content for CU Presents, Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company, Learn Your Rights in Colorado, Slant’d Magazine, and Popsockets.

BFA: University of Colorado Boulder.

Ayla Sullivan is an extra ass binch, though they wish their literal ass was more extra. They are mainly interested in interdisciplinary arts, free & radical arts education, sweet snuggles, and hauntings. Hailing from Denver and the elite slums of suburban Aurora, Colorado; they are Denver’s Second Youth Poet Laureate and have been published in Suspect Press, OUTFRONT, and interviewed for Colorado Public Radio, Westword, and 303 Magazine. As a playwright, their plays We are the Wake, WHITEWASH, TRANS/ACTIONS (co-written with Woodzick), and pieces for The Non Binary Monologue Project have premiered in Boulder; meanwhile Last Stop and TesserACT: Dimensions of Gender premiered in Denver. They also have written and starred in D.A.M.E. and You, Me, and the FAFSA.

CINEMATOGRAPHER/PRODUCER

Homegrown in the wee town of Niwot, Colorado, Anders just finished wasting four years at the University of Colorado Boulder earning a BFA in film production and a minor in Spanish. Anders is the go-to director of photography for anything and everything Shift23, using his obnoxiously tall and skinny body to get the best angles for every shot. He is currently developing a short experimental documentary with Shift23, The Bombers, about his father's involvement with the infamous Hanford Nuclear Reservation.

SHE/HER/HERS
DIRECTOR/EDITOR

Cassi grew up in Denver, Colorado and she won’t need a kids’ menu, thanks. She recently graduated with a BFA in film production from CU Boulder, where she focused (and continues to focus) much of her work on examining femininity through the lens of horror. Her other passions include cats, denim, and blankets.

DIRECTOR/WRITER/ART DESIGNER
SHE/HER/HERS

Erin Neitzel is an artist and filmmaker who wears many hats on any set- as long as she is behind the camera and not in front of it, unless it is a hat that covers her face. Her films focusing on redefining science fiction as a exploration of the modern dystopia in which we live rather than one rooted in aesthetic futurism. Soon you may know her as the first arthouse filmmaker on Mars.

BRUCE TETSUYA

HE/HIM/HIS
DIRECTOR/EDITOR/WRITER

Bruce Tetsuya is a Japanese-American filmmaker based in New York City & Denver. His work often deals with memories, dreams, and using art as expression for grief. Inspired by filmmakers like Terrence Malick and Akira Kurosawa, Bruce’s films seek to explore the beauty in simplicity, world culture, and movement/dance. Bruce is the founder of Definition Indigo, an independent film production and marketing brand, which has since expanded into feature film developments and an online film magazine with over 7,000 readers. Bruce’s latest film, Nightjar, is now an official selection at the Denver Film Festival 2019. If he’s not on set or in the writer’s room, you can bet on finding Bruce on the tennis court, or at home watching the Chef Show.

KRISTEN WILLIAMS

SHE/HER/HERS
DIRECTOR/EDITOR/ANIMATOR

Kristen Williams is a filmmaker, photographer, and animator from Denver, Colorado. As a filmmaker, she works in 8mm film, 16mm film, and digital video, utilizing digital and direct animation, alternative film processing, and experimental photographic technology to create films that are ruptures from reality, breaks from sanity, and visions from beyond. As a photographer, Kristen experiments with alternative processing, expired film, and toy cameras to create works that examine horror and femininity, light and color, distorted realities and liminal spaces.

RAINE ROBERTS

SHE/HER/HERS
DIRECTOR/EDITOR/PRODUCER/PHOTOGRAPHER

Raine Roberts is a filmmaker and thought-provoker currently living in Brooklyn. As such, her goal is to create films that explore the inevitable imbalances in her life and in the lives of others, all while supporting and encouraging black, latinx, and LBGTQ --among other minority representations-- filmmakers, creatives, and inventors. Raine enjoys puzzles and finds filmmaking to be the most challenging, yet rewarding puzzle of them all.

VERONICA MENDOZA

SHE/HER/HERS
DIRECTOR/WRITER/ACTOR

Veronica Mendoza is a floral artist and filmmaker from the filthy city of Colorado Springs. In her art, she aims to provide raw, unadulterated representation for those who cannot express themselves, and as a form of therapy for herself and for others involved in her projects. She is passionate about working with her fellow comrade filmmakers on fighting the good fight through film and witchcraft. Cheers.

MADI LYN

SHE/HER/HERS
WRITER/MAKEUP/SPECIAL EFFECTS

Madi is a practical filmmaking enthusiast with a flare for the macabre. She loves to create visual effects from found objects, especially of the edible variety. Her inspirations lie in the distinctly bizarre, citing the likes of David Lynch, Michel Gondry, and Noel Fielding.

DEE JIMENEZ

HE/HIM/HIS
WRITER/ACTOR

I am an athlete of affect. A mime who has declared holy war on pantomimes. I have tied Marcel Marceau's body to my chariot and drag it around the city gates of Hollywood. I want a feast. I want a bean feast. I have fist-fought the devil and won (left). I have fought with the mind of Faust, the soul of Joan of Arc, and the heart of Don Juan. Now I'm hungry. I'm hungry for Cezanne's apples. I'm hungry for Muqi's persimmons. Someday I will eat the world. It's in the whites of my eyes.
